Crew's size chart , Nordstrom's size chart , and Loft's size chart all agree that a 25" waist is somewhere around a 0 or a 2. Aww, thank you for the links. I mean I'm confused about how OP could be a size 6 with her measurements, especially since her measurements are close to mine and I am no where near a 6. Definitely can't go smaller than a size 4. Knowing the actual issues would make it easier to recommend products for you. Many of the issues associated with stretch denim are actually the result of thin, cheap denim material. I don't care for light weight jegging-type stretch jeans, but give me some good thick heavyweight stretch denim and I'm set.
Not really in the budget you commented, but you might want to look into raw denim, they usually have no stretch at all. I have jeans from Railcar without stretch, so I guess I didn't know they usually have it. That's good to know. They have some spandex in them, as most do these days. Even if you end up hating them, not a bad price for what you could consider a "trial pair".
That said, Levi's has a boyfriend cut that should be in your price range when Levi's has a sale. Freddie's of pinewood if you are into retro jeans. Their quality is superb and they do not have any stretch. I have several pairs and always bought them online, never had fitting isSues! Oh, would you mind sharing the info? I haven't ordered for a while because I've been broke but is never had issues with my mine fitting I'm a 29" waist with a 40" hip.
I'll see if I can dig up the posts-it's from a facebook group that I deal heavily in, and it's like , members strong, so not a small population. As I recall, they were having issues with the measures being off as of late, and even contacted the company.
Will see what I can locate. The posts were a month or so back-and things get buried on that forum, so it'll take me a bit to get the details.
It's no Oh La La, is it? I'm in that group too but there's so many posts to keep up with! My top 3 favorite pairs of jeans are all from Loft. I really suggest checking them out, there's hardly any stretch in a lot of their jeans and they do wonders for your booty: Have you thought of trouser jeans? Usually those are made without stretch and are made for more business casual situations. Try Levis curve ID jeans. Looks like they start at your price range.
I am super curvy. Wear the supreme curve. I have always hated stretch too. Would stretch at the waist and I'm not a fan of belts. The legs will stretch a little over the day, but the waist stays tight. Only jeans I will ever buy again. Can get good ones on sale. Where have you been looking? Most outdoors stores hunting and fishing places carry clothes and I've found non-stretch jeans there. Eddie Bauer also carries some styles without stretch. Crew has some good non stretch jeans in various cuts.
Also try their sister company Madewell. I bought a pair of Diesel Skinzee three weeks ago and they haven't stretched at all. I was going in to buy Nudie, but the SA suggested the Diesel instead since they don't get out of shape.
I've worn them for up to four days without them losing it's shape. Which is another reason I prefer to wear real jeans instead of blue pantyhose with pockets and a "slimming jeans" label.
The goldfish will grow very, very large if its bowl grows with it. So I order a size smaller and wear these tight. When I wear these - I never overeat. My stomach pushes against the jeans when I'm full and I stop eating. They have a little give in the gut but if you have a larger stomach, you'll want to order your normal size or one size up.
It's a shame that we women have had to tolerate spandex atrocities for so long. But I really need them in a regular fit rather than relaxed. I'm not a small woman, but my thighs and butt swim in these jeans!
I guess my search for non-stretchy women's jeans continues. Although there is not enough room in the seat for a normal behind and the legs are a bit baggy and some cut off grain, they are acceptable.

Turns out that the fit is true to size, at least for my body. I sent them back for an exchange and if the new ones fit as i expect them too, these will be my new "go too" jeans and i will get a couple more pairs. Perfect fit for my larger size and no stretchy spandex.
Feels like a real pair of denim jeans. I have a pear shaped body and these fit perfectly! Skinny jeans will never be for me! Don't need to bother with the slight prewash. Wish they came in black.
